Terms and Conditions for First Aid Training Courses

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the booking and attendance of First Aid training courses provided by EPC Medical Ltd, referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”. By booking a course with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Booking and Payment
All course bookings must be made via our website, email, or telephone.
Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payment methods accepted include debit/credit card, BACS transfer, or invoice (subject to agreement).
Group and corporate bookings may require a deposit and payment in instalments.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
By the Delegate:
Cancellations must be made in writing to EPC Medical Ltd.
Refunds are issued based on notice provided:
More than 14 days’ notice: Full refund.
7–14 days’ notice: 50% refund.
Less than 7 days’ notice: No refund.
One free rescheduling is permitted if requested more than 7 days before the course date.
By EPC Medical Ltd:
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule courses at our discretion.
In such cases, delegates will be offered a full refund or a transfer to an alternative course date.
We are not liable for any other costs incurred, such as travel or accommodation.
4. Delegate Requirements
Delegates must be physically capable of participating in practical first aid activities.
Any medical conditions or disabilities that may affect participation must be disclosed prior to the course.
Delegates must usually be aged 16 or over; ID may be requested to verify eligibility.
5. Certification
Upon successful completion of the course and assessment, delegates will receive a certificate of competence, typically valid for 3 years.
Replacement certificates may incur an administrative fee.
Some courses may require refresher training to maintain certification.
If a delegate does not complete the course in full or is unsuccessful in the final assessment, no refund will be given. Certification is awarded only to those who meet the required standard of competence.
6. Course Conduct
EPC Medical Ltd reserves the right to remove delegates whose behaviour is disruptive, offensive, or unsafe. No refund will be provided in such cases.
Delegates must follow all safety instructions given by instructors.
7. Liability
We take all reasonable steps to ensure a safe training environment.
EPC Medical Ltd accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage unless directly caused by our proven negligence.
Delegates are responsible for their own personal belongings during the course.
8. Data Protection
EPC Medical Ltd will process your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
